Santa Maria

Santa Maria is considered one of the most peaceful places in Romblon province. Facing Sibuyan Sea in the east coast of Tablas Island, the town is generally mountainous with some plains near its coast. Two of its favorable attractions are the rocky beach Bugtong Bato, where one can jump from a large rock into the sea, and Nagbang Viewpoint, a pleasant site to sit and watch the sun rising over Sibuyan Island and Tablas Strait. Worth trying out are Santa Maria's nutritious seaweed products such as seaweed noodles, seaweed leche flan, cupcakes, chips, and bread.
